Where I heard of DA and why I want to join :

Seems like the nicest place to be on Mortal so far. Everyone is always talking down about this game because of rampant player killing/stealing/murdering, but from the Horde of the Summoned on Wurm Online? I'm used to it. I want to join because I think I could help teach new players (once I'm active and I actually know things) and I'd like to just help with whatever everyone needs in general. I'm not a leader or anything like that, but support.
